Thinking Theoblogically

My name is Bryan. I am a husband to Christina. I am a daddy to Elijah & Sophia. I am planting a new church called Missio Dei in Asheville, NC with my friend Kurt. I enjoy good Mexican food, good beer, and good chocolate chip cookies. I love the city of Asheville.

After several failed attempts, I am re-entering the blogoshpere. I do this hesitantly, because it seems to be the trendy thing to do these days, especially in the world of evangelicalism. But I forge ahead, because the art of writing is good practice, and my hope is that using this avenue to articulate thoughts that run circles in my mind will be good for me, good for my church, and good for anyone else who may stumble upon this web log.  I want to write about Christ, about culture, about the gospel, about my city, about planting churches. I want to wrestle through Scripture texts, dialogue with you about the beauty and difficulty of following Jesus, and hopefully get us all to begin thinking with a Kingdom perspective. That’s it. That’s the goal. Let’s see what happens…
